The POINT's annual Town Hall is our chance to get the neighborhood together, and touch base on everything happening in and around Hunts Point that The POINT is involved with.  We will give a short presentation on each project or campaign that is currently active, and then ask for feedback from participants to see if we are truly reflecting the community's needs and desires.  During the second half of the meeting, while a free meal is being served, attendees will be able to walk around the atrium and visit tables with more information on each of the issues brought up earlier in order to learn more, give feedback, or get involved in our efforts.
Because of all the amazing work happening this year, we have invited other groups from the area to participate as well and share with the crowd the projects that they are working on as well.
The entire evening will kick off with a wonderful performance by youth in The POINT's Cirque du Monde program!

Some of the topics being covered will include:

• Updates on NYOFCo and the City's proposal to build a new jail in Hunts Point
• The creation of Hunts Point's own Farm Share  / CSA courtesy of Hunts Point Alliance for Children and the BLK ProjeK
• Upcoming special events in the Hunts Point area
• A new Hunts Point High School
• Where to get training for green-collar jobs
• Much, much, more!
