RHYME
Summer 2021

RHYME is a Hip Hop workshop that creates hope and opportunity through interactive poetry, rap, writing, recording, and freestyle sessions. Participants learn the 5 elements of Hip Hop, use creative writing, poetry, and Hip Hop to tell their story, and learn the value of collaboration and shared vision. They also record an original spoken word and or Hip Hop lyric that tells their story and experience and explore the connection between mic skills and life skills via social-emotional learning and character-building activities.
